“Che magnifica ottobrata<\/strong>!”<\/span><\/p>\n

A meno che tu non sia romano, forse non hai mai sentito questa espressione.<\/span><\/p>\n

per Roma<\/strong> affascina i suoi visitatori tutto l'anno: in inverno, quando le nuvole grigie si riflettono nelle acque scure del Tevere, ma anche in piena estate, quando i maestosi monumenti brillano sotto la luce di un sole infuocato.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ma c'\u00e8 un mese particolare<\/strong>, in cui la Capitale vive un autunno caldo<\/strong>, in cui tutta la natura sembra lanciare un ultimo sussulto, prima di assopirsi per il lungo inverno: ottobre<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Questo mese rappresenta per Roma l' ultimo momento dell'estate<\/strong>, tant'\u00e8 che non \u00e8 raro che i romani si dirigano verso Ostia, per un ultimo giorno di mare.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Com'\u00e8 possibile? \u00c8 un fenomeno tipico<\/strong> della Capitale che prende il nome dell'Ottobrata romana.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ottobrata romana: un miracolo meteorologico<\/span><\/h2>\n

Questa clima anomalo<\/strong>, che a ottobre colpisce Roma, \u00e8 a dono dell'anticiclone<\/strong> di Azzorre<\/strong>. In questo periodo, infatti, arriva una imponente massa d'aria calda sulla nostra penisola, interessando particolarmente il centro Italia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Roma, quindi, vive ancora un po 'd'estate<\/strong> anche in pieno autunno. L'anticiclone, infatti, garantisce un clima estremamente mite e la totale assenza di piogge, permettendo ai romani, fin dall'antichit\u00e0, di godersi gli ultimi viaggi, chiamati \u201cscampagnate<\/strong>\u201c, prima dell'arrivo delle fredde temperature invernali.<\/span><\/p>\n

Significato e origini dell'Ottobrata romana<\/span><\/h2>\n

L'Ottobrata significa per i romani la caratteristica gita fuori porta<\/strong>, con amici e parenti, in ottobre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le origine<\/strong> dell'Ottobrata di Roma affonda le sue radici in un passato molto lontano, e risale all'epoca degli antichi romani.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I romani di solito organizzavano i Baccanalia<\/strong>, feste dove vino e buon cibo non potevano mancare. Erano feste stravaganti, dove tutto era permesso.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gli stessi romani decisero allora di proibirli, perch\u00e9 erano incontrollabili!<\/span><\/p>\n

Una festa per tutti i romani<\/span><\/h2>\n

l'Ottobrata romana cominci\u00f2 ad essere celebrata di nuovo durante il diciannovesimo secolo<\/strong> come attivit\u00e0 legata al periodo della vendemmia ei romani lasciavano la citt\u00e0 per raggiungere i vigneti che si trovavano oltre le porte della Capitale.<\/span><\/p>\n

A quel tempo non c'erano macchine, cos\u00ec partivano dai \"rioni\", i quartieri, a bordo delle caratteristiche \"carettelle<\/strong>\u201c, curiose carrozze a forma di guscio d'uovo, trainate da due cavalli addobbati a festa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dev'essere stato davvero divertente guardare l' insolita processione<\/strong> che lasciava dietro di s\u00e9 gli stornelli romani, ridenti e beffardi!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Questa usanza tradizionale univa persone povere e nobilt\u00e0, che spesso finivano per festeggiare insieme, condividere cibo e vino<\/strong>: per gli aristocratici era un'occasione unica per evadere dalla routine di palazzo e per la gente rappresentava un'occasione unica per evadere da una quotidianit\u00e0 spesso grigia e stancante.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nessuno si \u00e8 asteneva dall'Ottobrata, ma soprattutto tutti sfoggiavano i loro vestiti migliori<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

E non si badava a spese! Si dice che a quei tempi il Monte dei Pegni<\/strong> faceva affari d'oro: i romani, per potersi permettere un abito degno della festa, erano disposti a impegnare anche quei pochi averi che possedevano!<\/span><\/p>\n

Vino, cibo e goliardia: ed \u00e8 subito portato via!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Per le persone pi\u00f9 povere, che non potevano permettersi la tipica \u201cgita fuori porta\u201d, la Famiglia Borghese<\/strong> si \u00e8 prendeva cura di loro: durante le Domeniche di ottobre<\/strong>, infatti, aprivano la loro villa<\/strong>, la famosa Villa Borghese, allestendo i prati con giostre, spettacoli, esibizioni equestri e gare atletiche.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ma non importa dove andassi, l'atmosfera era la stessa ovunque: balli, canti e vino, tanto vino.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Insomma, l'Ottobrata romana era una vera festa dei sensi e della socialit\u00e0<\/strong>: una tradizione che viene da lontano, ma vive ancora nelle abitudini dei romani.<\/span><\/p>\n
